2000s Esteban VL-10 Dreadnought Guitar

Over the years I've seen a number of these Asian-import, Esteban-branded guitars that were sold using Mr. Esteban's "player fame" to push them. I'm pretty sure the majority of them were QVC-sold things that came with a whole assortment of "learner" DVDs and whatnot. This one is firmly in the category of "cheap plywood acoustic/electric" but it does have a sort-of downtrodden, lovely, trashy heart to itself. I think it was sold with a set of DVDs, a chord chart, and little amp to begin-with.

Anyhow, this came in as trade bait a while back and my friend Todd fixed it up for the shop just recently, giving it a fret level/dress and some other work to get it playing decently. It makes a good learner guitar with above-average tuners (for its type), weird holographic-like faux-pearl accents, and a "negative image" paint scheme.
