2010s Fender "Pawn Shop" Excelsior 13w 1x15" Tube Amp
I've got a big, healthy respect for this model of amp. I bought one brand-new years ago and used it for a time before trading it to a friend. They're low-wattage but have a lot of clean headroom before they break-up into a delicious, Chicago-sounding, smear of dirt towards the end of the dial. The 15" speaker and even-sounding voicing make them sound quite retro -- sort-of an old National/Valco amp or Magnatone amp tone.
It's a decidedly un-Fender soundscape and is a perfect match for a guitarist who likes to play at medium volume, fairly clean, and likes to hear their mids and highs singing. Think old-style country, rockabilly, steel guitar use, stuff like that. It will rock when pushed but you have to get your volume up to do so.
I did a demo of one the last time I had one through, and here's that:
This one, however, is being sold by my friend Greg who's going through a collection crunch-down. His events are mostly acoustic these days and so a beautiful-sounding, electric-style tube amp is a bit of overkill. It's in good shape, missing its badge on the front (they're ugly so they're often taken off by their owners), and only shows mild wear to the tolex covering and a little dusty grunge in the back on the chassis.
It has a full set of JJ tubes in back.
