2010s Whetstone (Scott Hausman, Vermont) 000-size 12-fret Guitar
This has no markings on it but the owner tells me it's a Whetstone made in Vermont by Scott Hausman. It certainly looks it! It's perhaps about a decade old but in good health. It's a 000-size 12-fret guitar in a vaguely Martin-style pattern and it's lightly-braced, well-built, and robust in sound. It's got plenty of volume and warmth and makes an excellent fingerpicker.
There's an LR Baggs Lyric pickup (bridgeplate mic) fit with an output jack at the endpin and controls at the soundhole. The top is solid spruce and it has solid mahogany for the back, sides, and neck. The bridge and fretboard are both rosewood and look a lot like Madagascar rosewood. It has wood binding on the top edge but I'm not sure what exactly it is.
The build is classy and restrained with a simple rosette and understated binding and purfling. The finish is satin and there's very little wear to the guitar but it's definitely been played a bit as it's got a good, open sound.
Repairs included: a fret level/dress, restring, and setup.

Condition notes: it's quite clean overall but does have minor little scratches and scuffs here and there in the finish. The finish itself is satin. It's apparently all-original but does have a Lyric microphone pickup installed, too. The saddle is fairly low on the bridge at the moment but we're just coming out of super-humid summer, here, and I expect it will need a taller one as we move into fall.
It comes with: a hard case.
