2005 Ibanez SZ320 Electric Guitar (Modded)

Well, how about this? It's a set-neck, curvy-heeled, PRS-Stratty-ish, LP-loadout, rockstar sort-of guitar. It's been played heavily and has scratches, scuffs, and dings here and there all over. I took it in mixer of trade/consignment from a good fella and I think that it might have been his first good guitar?

At any rate, it arrived with everything non-functional, one pickup yanked, and badly needing a level/dress of the frets and a fresh set of pickups and a wiring harness. All that was done and I simplified its control setup, too -- with just a 3-way switch and master volume/tone controls. The pickups are a pair of Guitar Fetish alnico humbuckers of the vintage-wind sort and, as you might expect, it has a quite "vintage Les Paul" voicing. It's good!

The neck is a little more substantial than your average newer electric guitar but it plays exceedingly-fast and lends itself to rocking-out. It's Korean-built, the quality is nice, and it's actually rather lightweight for the depth and style of the body. I'm pretty impressed by it, really.

Repairs included: fret level/dress, cleaning, setup, new pickups, new wiring harness, new knobs, replacement backplate, etc.

Condition notes: it's beat-up and has scuffs, scratches, and small nicks and dings here and there throughout. There's a "bump" into the fretboard at 14 but it doesn't hurt playability. The pickups, back plate, knobs, and wiring harness are all replacements. I quickly filled the old side-mount jack hole and instead fit the jack to the top for ease of use. Overall it looks handsome in a road warrior sort-of way...

It comes with: sorry, no case!
