2018 Fender American Original '60s Jazzmaster Electric Guitar

We had one of these in recently that was from 2022 in the same finish and specs, though this one has an upgrade via a Mastery bridge install. As you might expect, it's a fantastic guitar and pretty authentic to original specs and styling for the model. The only true difference in handling compared to a mid-late '60s Jazzmaster is the fretboard radius which is at 9 1/2" rather than the 7 1/4" I'm used to on a lot of '60s Fenders. It's nice to see "original-style" features throughout the build.

The color and its juxtaposition with the tortoise pickguard looks great and the fit, feel, and quality of the instrument overall is good. The whammy handles perfectly and stays in tune well even with abuse. It's hard to overestimate how useful having a Mastery on one of these is for modern playing styles and their lighter stringing.

Condition notes: it's quite clean overall but does have a couple of dings/small cracks to the finish/binding on the bass side of the neck near some of the side dots. I tried to picture it. There are also a couple of dings on the body top which you can see in a few of the pics -- they're small and non-obvious at a glance. The frets are essentially new with only the tiniest wear. The original bridge is in the case pocket but it has a fantastic Mastery bridge installed which is far better than the original.
