2020s Kmise KMU31TG Tenor Guitar
These are cheap -- $99 new right now on Amazon with a gigbag. The fella who dropped it off brought it in a good hard case, however, with tweed on the outside so I'll gave it priced in the shop at the price of its case.
For a $99 instrument, how is it? Well, the sound is a bit thin but passable and certainly more than good enough to find-out if you want to play tenor guitar -- but the factory setup was truly terrible. With a restring and some adjustments, it plays spot-on and serves just fine. It also, actually, has a pretty nice look -- it's basic but clean in the old, 1930s-style, Hawaiian-uke-looking format.
I've currently got it tuned CGDA standard but it can restring/retune to anything else as desired. "Celtic" GDAE tuning sounds not so hot on it, mind you.
