1969 Harmony H912 000-Size 12-String Guitar

This same model of 12-string is almost always sold right-away when I have them in. This one was put on hold by a buddy of mine pretty-much immediately, but he's since had to let the prospect go, so it's now up for grabs. They're popular and we all know why -- they're cool, they do the Leadbelly thing, and they're not ginormous. This has a 000-size body, a woody/dry/punchy voice, and great looks.

It's been gone-through so it's playing spot-on and is ready to serve. I've been stringing them up with 11s, lately, as most owners tend to either pound them in standard tuning or do various open and modal-tuning changes so the heavier strings compared to my usual set of 46w-10 is useful.

These are all-birch in the body and with the tailpiece design they have a mids-forward, snappy sound that sits beautifully in its own pocket for recording or band/live use. Bonus points to those who fit a soundhole pickup in there...

Repairs included: a neck reset, fret level/dress, replacement pickguard, bridge mod (compensation for saddle, shims), hairline crack repair to top and sides, much cleaning, and setup work.

Condition notes: aside from a hairline crack on-center on the top (repaired, under the strings) and a longer hairline crack in the side/waist (bass side, repaired), it's otherwise in pretty good shape for its age. There's, of course, plenty of finish surface scratching and scuffing. The pickguard is also a replacement (the original would have been white and screwed-down rather than stickied to it) but is the correct shape. Otherwise, it's original throughout.

It comes with: sorry, no case.
