1970s Electro-Harmonix Mike Matthews Dirt Road Special 25w Amp

This righteous little solid state amp is on the rare side. It's lightweight, packs plenty of punch, has a good, cutting, midsy sound (with a ton of tone-sculpting available between its two tone-adjustment knobs), and to top it all off it's fit with a Small Stone Phaser pedal's circuitry right in the amp itself.

I gave it a good going-through -- three-pronged the power cable, added a new receptacle, and cleaned-up everything and made sure it was tidy. This is already on its way out to California as I write this all up, but I'm happy to have had it around for picking-on the last week or two.

The new owner is hoping it saves his back from the splendor (and brutality) of his bigger tube amps, and I'm thinking it will. Most of use get our drive sounds from pedals these days, so most of us tend to just need a good, solid, interesting-sounding clean sound as our "home."
