1971 Martin D-18 Dreadnought Guitar
My friend Floyd has owned this D-18 for ages and I know why -- it sounds like an absolute beast. It's warm and woody and punchy all at the same time -- just what you want from a D-18.
It was due a neck reset, however, and so it got a neck reset, fresh bridge, new bone saddle, a fret level/dress, some minor side-crack repairs, mild cleaning, and setup work. It's now roaring again and feels like a winner.
I had to scour my bridge-pins for something that was close to the cinnamon color of the fretboard but I think I managed to match it decently.
