2000s Bacelar 4/4 Cello

This is a good-quality, modern cello from the Bacelar shop in New Jersey. Apparently, they source "US-made" instruments and then do some adjustments and tweaking to them until they're satisfied enough with the builds to put their name in them. No matter what, this is a great-sounding instrument and built to a good spec. It has nice fittings and a round, full, clean sound.

It arrived here for a headstock break repair (it was split behind the nut and running into the pegbox) and Andy and I tag-teamed that a bit, fitting patch-cleats to the inside of the pegbox (painted black to match), regluing the major separation under the nut area, and then fitting a pair of dowels to help with keeping the repair solid if it ever gets "shock" in the same place in the future.
