2018 Gretsch G6128T-59VS Duo Jet Electric Guitar

This beaut is basically a new guitar. It has just the tiniest amount of wear here and there (very small nicks or scratches along the edges) but it looks glorious. For all of its running-gear, it's also fairly lightweight at just over 7 1/2 lbs. It has a retro, soft-V neck shape and plays fast as all get-out. The Bigsby whammy feels broken-in and tracks accurately, too, unless you really abuse it. I'm impressed!

Nice little details pop-out throughout -- "red dot" side dots, well-cut "fingertip" inlay at the fretboard, and all sorts of "vintage" nods that gives it a professional feel. This is a Japanese-made, modern Gretsch and the quality leap between this and the standard-run models is night and day. Those standard models are excellent value, mind you, but this feels like a proper, professional-quality instrument compared to them and it sounds like an old Gretsch, too.

Repairs included: minor setup adjustments.
