1965 Fender Jazzmaster Electric Guitar

A buddy of mine recently purchased this up in Canada. It had been in band use for a while but its owner was shuffling gear around as I recall. Anyhow, it's a '65 Jazzmaster. How can you not love it? It has the sound and the looks and the gloriously-perfect whammy.

One of the pickups (guessing the bridge) is not original, but I would never have guessed it as both sound excellent. There's also one replacement saddle at the bridge. At one point, the fretboard was planed and refretted it but the goofus doing the job changed the radius from something tight to something near flat -- right around 20" radius up and down the whole board.

It needed a level/dress of the frets and a proper setup and that's just what it got. It now plays like a champ and is ready to serve its owner with a set of flatwound Thomastik 10s on it, too.
