2007 First Act Folkswagen Garagemaster Electric Guitar

This is the second one of these through the shop and my description for the last one holds for this one, so I'm going to carbon-copy the meat and potatoes of it as the same applies to this one:

This one's a 2007 but these debuted in 2006 as an accessory that came with various VW vehicles. It has an onboard preamp that, when turned-on, lets you plug this into the AUX input in your car and use the car's stereo like an amp. It's got a drive setting and a cleaner setting and, well -- it's fun!

These came in white or cream with a pickguard array that matched the color of the car it was issued with. This one must have been matched to a black car, eh?

The pickups have a clean, chimey, retro sound to them that makes them useful for a variety of styles. They're more-or-less FilterTron-ish in flavor. The neck is a typical, quick, Modern-feeling thing that will be at home to anyone used to Ibanez products of the last 20 years. It's slim and quick with a flatter board radius.

Jose just did a restring and setup on it and it's playing bang-on and ready to go.
