1967 Gibson Hummingbird Dreadnought Guitar

This is a local customer's guitar and it was in for some glorified setup work (fret level/dress and adjustments) and a bridge reglue. It's a cool old box and mostly-original, though the tuners and bridge have been swapped-out and a pickup installed. This era of Hummingbird would have had a adjustable, ABR-style electric-style bridge/saddle fit to it at the factory so it's perhaps a good thing that it's gone!

It's got a quick, skinny-nut neck that's perfect for rock-and-roll chords barred up and down the neck and, of course, that's what this makes you want to play. The woody, relaxed, slightly-tubby sound is perfect for wailing on it with a flatpick -- though I did listen-in to Jose fingerpicking this the other day with very good results.
