1990s Larrivee L-05 OM/Small Jumbo Guitar

I forgot to look up this Larrivee's serial number and model number information, but it looks like it's a 1990s L-05 model. This is considered Larrivee's "OM" instrument but it's more like a small jumbo guitar than an OM in my book. It's pretty big!

As you'd expect, it has a long scale and a big, full, up-front sound. It's also pretty.

Work on this included making a repro bridge as the original had split (and it's not a normal size), fitting a new saddle, a fret level/dress, new pickup install (K&K Twin Spot), and setup work.

I'm not sure when production started, but Larrivee does have a specific "OM" model in production. These L body models are really Swiss Army knifes, in that they do it all well.

This one has the Victoria B.C. label from Jean Larrivee’s shop on Esquimalt Rd in Victoria, British Columbia Canada, which ran from 1977 to 1983 but it could be a bit later. Lovely instruments.
