1967 Harmony Stella H912 000-Size 12-String Guitar

I never get tired of this model -- they're cool. We've worked on a ton of them over here, too. I can't even remember how many have been through the shop from various consignors. They do the clunky, woody, thumpy, Leadbelly thing nicely and also have a style all their own. I particularly like the red-tinged sunburst on this guy. It's a nice change-up from the usual black/brown sunburst these mostly feature.

The necks are not for most people as they are wide (2" -- like a classical) and have a big, hefty back profile in a D-shape. I think these instruments are best experienced tuned to various open tunings and fingerpicked with a heavy hand, but they also do the strummy-jangle thing just fine, too.

Repairs included: a neck re-reset, fret level/dress, new adjustable/fully-compensated bridge, minor seam repairs, minor brace repairs, setup, etc...

Condition notes: it had a wonky neck reset previously (there's some finish blem from steam near the joint) but it's good to go, now. The guitar itself is original throughout save the truss cover and a new bridge that I whipped-up from a new top and some spare parts. There's minor wear and tear to the body throughout and it looks like the back may have entirely been reglued at one point. The fretboard extension drops over the body a bit so if you like playing beyond the 14th fret on a 12-fretter you will feel a little more resistance up there.

It comes with: sorry, no case.
