1967 Rickenbacker 335 Semihollow Electric Guitar

A local buddy is continuing his Rickenbacker fandom with this gloriously-tuxedo Rick. I like it a lot -- it's been played and played and has the vibe that only a well-loved specimen can give. Its got that "friendly old hand" sort-of feel.

It needed the usual stuff -- a fret level/dress, bridge/saddles and setup tweaking, and a general going-over. Post-work it plays beautifully and is stable in service. One interesting note is that the neck pickup was missing one screw for its mount from the factory. It never had the hole drilled for it. Curious!
