1970s Univox Hi-Flyer Phase III Electric Guitar

I think this is a "Phase III" version of the Hi-Flyer. I'm not sure, though. At any rate, it's the Japanese company's take on a Mosrite -- but a Mosrite with dual humbuckers! To be perfectly honest, post-repairs it plays just about as nice as an actual Mosrite, too, and handles roughly the same. I like it. The build quality is pretty nice as well.

The owner of this guitar needed it spruced-up quite a bit, though -- the frets needed a level/dress job, the wiring harness (save the 3-way switch) got replaced, it needed some neck joint repairs (well, re-repairs, as the pocket had been damaged), and of course it needed general setup-side love as well. It also got some "Luminlay" side dots which... glow in the dark! It's completely gig-ready, now.
