2000s Martin J12-16GT Jumbo 12-String Guitar

This is a neat, older-but-younger, Martin 12-string that was in the shop for a neck reset, level/dress of the frets, and setup work. Like all of these tenon-joint/half-bolted Martins, the neck had come a bit undone and was also very stubborn to release from the joint. After finally getting it all pegged-down, however, it's turned into a slick, quick player and has a pleasing, sweet, sustained sound.

These are solid spruce over solid mahogany back and sides, have synthetic-materials fretboards and bridges, and are built in the US. The GT is for "gloss top" as the back and sides are satin-finished.
