2020s Novo Serus Solidbody Electric Guitar

I don't want to pump up guitars too much, but I have to say that these Novos are incredibly good instruments -- lightweight, ergonomically very comfortable, and with excellent looks. They come "relic'd" from their workshop which gives them a friendly feel, though I would love to see them make a few with a simple satin finish without the wear -- for those of us who like to muck things up ourselves!

Anyhow, this guitar was in for a pickup swap -- it came with Fralin P90s but the owner wanted more of a PAF humbucker sound. I scratched my head on this for ages (it's not really a thing that you can get exactly due to the width of the soapbar rout) but I finally looked-up TV Jones and found their PowerTrons in soapbar covers. These are the ticket. It's got a PAF-meets-FilterTron vibe, but definitely leans more to the '60s PAF side of things. They also look great, too, with the normal-size polepieces.
