1965 Fender Jaguar Partscaster Electric Guitar

My buddy Steve has a funny concept about "show guitars" -- meaning stuff that's not as valuable as killer original Jazzmasters and Jaguars. This is one of his "show guitars" -- a '65 body and '65 neck with new bits otherwise. It's got a Mastery bridge and whammy, SD Antiquity Jag pickups (as I recall), and a simplified wiring harness and set of control plates.

What can I say? It has everything you could want from a Jag without the fuss and hassle and the Mastery hardware gives it a good edge beyond the original bits, too. Ancel gave it a refret and I gave it a good going-over setup-wise, but it had already had all of the parts-fitting and wiring done before it arrived here.
