1966 Goya (Levin) TG-15 Tenor Guitar

This is a Levin-made Goya TG-15, made in Sweden, and I think of these as loosely modeled on Gibson TG-25s of the same decade. Like those, this one is lightly ladder-braced, has an almost classical guitar body outline, and is simply appointed. It's solid spruce over solid mahogany, has a mahogany neck, and rosewood board and bridge. Unlike the super-skinny necks of the Gibsons, however, the neck on this guy is more like a Martin 0-18T with a little more heft and width.

This particular guitar was sent in for repair and wound-up receiving a neck reset, fret level/dress, and seam and crack repairs. Tim as on all of it except for the reset. The owner plays in octave mandolin (GDAE) tuning and so that's how we've strung it up.
