1987 Taylor 510 Dreadnought Guitar

This is my friend Wayne's old Taylor and, for years, it's needed a proper neck reset. Said neck reset is not so bad since it's a double-bolted neck joint, but it does take a little planning to get the fretboard extension free without damage and whatnot. I've just given this one the reset, fit a new bone saddle, and leveled/dressed the frets.

And... guess what? It's now a tip-top player again and sounds woody, full, and clean.

This was played lovingly for a couple decades before Martins took over his stable again, but I'm hoping he gets back into this beast because it's pure joy to play a Taylor that's been this played-in by its owner.
