2000s Unmarked Korean 4/4 Violin

Overview: While unmarked, this violin was in with a huge batch of Korean-made, student instruments I bought at the same time, so it's very likely a Korean in origin. It's probably from the late '90s or early 2000s as that was the range for the rest of the ones I'd bought in the batch. Anyhow, this instrument is of decent quality, sounds nice, and plays spot-on after work by my guy Andy.

Tone: It's clean and even and balanced. It has a quick response.

Feel: It's comfy and quick but has enough fullness to the neck that I don't get the "cramp-up" thing I sometimes get on instruments with teensy-tiny neck depth.

Interesting features: Andy added a bridge he nicely-fitted to it, a good, modern chinrest, and a 4-fine-tuners, synthetic tailpiece. The latter three of those makes it an easy-to-live-with player -- especially for a student or beginner.

Repairs included: As I recall, Andy fit the bridge, may have addressed minor seam separations, fit all the hardware, and gave it a good setup with some soundpost adjustments as well.
