2010 Taylor 656ce 12-String Jumbo Guitar

Overview: Taylor 12-strings are always well-regarded when they're in the shop as they have quick necks, a Guild-like chimey and full sound, and rugged reliability and stability. As per the usual, they're also crisp and clean in their build, too.

Tone: It's even, balanced, and full. Note separation is good but it blends nicely when playing chords or strumming.

Feel: The neck is fast and easy with a shallow radius.

Interesting features: The Taylor, 3-bolt neck joint is easy-peasy when adjustments are necessary down the line, for starters. It's also got ridiculously-nice flamed maple throughout the back and sides, sealed tuners at the headstock, and a good mix of pearl in the rosette and pearl inlay in the board. It's a rich-looking guitar while also being restrained.

Repairs included: I gave it a quick neck reset, minor extra compensation added at the saddle, and a good setup. It plays quick and easy, has plenty of saddle height, and is ready to go.

Condition notes: At a glance it looks like a new guitar. Looking closely, however, there's a little pickwear around the soundhole and some light "indent" kind-of scratches on the top here and there. It's all very non-obvious and the rest of the guitar is clean throughout. I can't even take photos of it, unfortunately, as it doesn't show up.

It comes with: It has its original hard case in good shape.
