1920s Aloha Hawaiian Pineapple Koa Soprano Ukulele

This is, I think, a Kamaka-made (or Kamaka-adjacent) pineapple-shaped koa uke from Hawaii. It only has "Aloha" as the brand, but as I recall, that was like a hotel-sold brand at the time. Its body and neck are one piece and the top and back are glued to it. It's nicely-made but, like most Hawaiian ukes from the time, has almost no symmetry throughout its build. The folksy details are where it's at, though -- the simple shape mixed with well-executed heel and headstock contours -- so delightful.

Jose did all the work on this guy! It got a fret level/dress, new bridge with fret saddle, crack repairs, cleaning, and setup work done and it's now playing spot-on and sounds lovely.
