1964 Gibson J-45 Slope Dreadnought Guitar

Here's a nice old J-45 that, apparently, I'd done a little work to years ago. This time it came back with the action nice but the bridge coming-up and a heavy-handed level/dress job needing to be done to assuage the usual Gibson neck S-curve and fretboard extension ramp-up nonsense.

Jose did most of the work (though I did do final bridge gluing and some reprofiling of the replacement bridge to give it a '50s look) and now it's playing spot-on and sounds and feels like a winner.

I love how these '60s sunbursts age more into a ruddy-brown color as compared to "black" on the edges. It's a friendlier look, I think.
