1960s Ampeg B-15N 25w 1x15" Bass Tube Amp
While I don't have a specific date for this amp, its features date it between 1968-1973 and I'll bet it's on the earlier side of that spectrum. It came here completely stock and in gorgeous shape -- I mean, this is about as clean as it gets for an old B-15! They're usually well-ridden by this point.
These are known as "flip top" Ampegs because the head portion is bolted to the top deck and said top deck can be flipped-over and all of the cabling and head can ride inside the cabinet and be protected when it's in transit to the next gig. It's a smart design and because the whole head is bolted to the top deck with two long bolts, it's easy to open up and service if need be.
My only work was to fit a 3-prong, grounded cable (with plenty of length) as the rest of the amp was working just dandy. The tube complement is either entirely original or at least vintage to the period of the amp. All of the components aside from the cable are original and I've duct-taped the original "death cap" to the inside of the chassis in case someone... needs... it... at some point.
This has its original CTS 15" speaker and the usual, cool, battery of controls and EQ-boost switches.
