1980s Yamaha SE250 Superstrat-Style Electric Guitar
Overview: This old '80s Yamaha Superstrat has a simple-enough configuration (1 single coil, 1 bucker) but a well-thought-out, functional design for rawk. The Floyd-inspired whammy system is well-made, easy to load strings into and adjust, and a lot less fussy than a traditional Floyd (as far as I can tell).
Tone: The pickups are lower-output than modern, ballsy, Superstrat-style pickups but they're more-suited to classic rock and, to be honest, more modern, non-'80s sounds, too. It's nice and clean (with a little "bark" at the bridge) with the amp set clean but it will do gained sounds easily as well.
Feel: The neck is quick with a slim-medium C profile and 10" board radius -- it reminds me more of a Gibson feel than a Fender one.
Interesting features: It has a cool, extremely-light-blue, pearlescent finish that looks almost "grey-white" until you get it next to a properly-white guitar and then you can see it started-out as a very light blue sort-of thing. The locking nut, traditional nut behind it, and downpressure bar are curious but very practical compared to the normal "locking nut only" experience -- it makes setup work much easier. It also has a good set of tuners and, as mentioned, the whammy bridge is easy to use and maintain.
Repairs included: Gurion gave it a fret level/dress, cleaning, added some replacement bits, and set it all up. It plays spot on and is ready to go.

Condition notes: There are nicks, dings, and scratches throughout with a few on the side/back of the neck that might drive people (not me, I don't mind) crazy if you're used to a perfectly-smooth neck. It appears to be all-original save knob, switch tip, whammy bar (it's a random Strat bar from our bins), and perhaps the strap buttons.
It comes with: It has a cheap old gigbag.
