1964 Gibson B-25 00-Size Guitar
Overview: I have known this B-25 for a while and it's always been a nice, easy player since I did a neck reset and some fretwork and setup work on it some time back. Its owner acquired it with a replacement bridge already on it and, since it left here last time, he also installed a pickup, so it's gig-ready. These early'60s B-25s are popular because they have a cozy neck shape combined with a wider nut width vs later-'60s ones. They also sound a lot like an LG-2/LG-3 (the B-25 is the '60s version of said model) but with more warmth and less pure attack.
Tone: It's balanced, woody, and warm (for its size) with a nice snap to the attack when dug-into.
Feel: The neck is on the slimmer side with a 1 11/16" nut width, 12" board radius, and cozy C shape with slightly-D shoulders.
Interesting features: The pickup is nice to have, it comes with a new hard case, and the finish color and looks are pretty excellent. It's a classic LG-3 look -- simple and straightforward with that cool, big, countrified pickguard.
Repairs included: Previously, it's had a neck reset, crack repairs, bridge replacement, pickup install, and setup work done (some by me, some by others). Just recently Jose gave it a fresh level/dress of the frets, cleaning, and fit a new bone saddle that's both better-compensated and better-fit to the enlarged saddle slot that had been done (after my work on it) to suit the undersaddle pickup sensor. It's now playing spot-on again and sounds excellent!

Condition notes: There are three longer repaired hairline cracks on the top-lower-bout and one hairline running north of the bridge to the soundhole. All have been cleated and are good to go. The bridge and saddle are replacements. A fancy Baggs pickup has been installed with soundhole-mounted control options. The finish shows weather-checking throughout and minor nicks, dings, and scratches here and there throughout. Overall it looks pretty nice, though. This originally would have had a plastic bridge on it (yick).
It comes with: It has a newer hard case.
