1967 Gibson Southern Jumbo Dreadnought Guitar
This is a nice old SJ that was in the shop via a son who was getting it fixed for his Dad for the holidays. His Dad, apparently, bought it around when it was new, too.
It needed the usual stuff -- a neck reset, fret level/dress, a bridge reglue, and some work on the saddle to recompensate it as the factory never really cut them or fit them in the right place as far as I've seen.
Post-repairs it has a big, round, chunky sound that's very "old country" -- just what you'd want for a guitar that looks this great.
Neat features -- tons of figured mahogany on the back and sides and a "2nd" stamp on the back of the headstock.
