2019 Fender Road Worn Jazz Bass Electric Bass Guitar

Overview: Jazz Bass was my first love of instruments, so it's not surprising that I've taken to the feel and sound of these "Road Worn" JBs as they're quite the quintessential '60s model in feel and overall vibe. This one's lightly-used and even has an added route to access the heel-mounted truss rod from the pickguard side. I'm partial to Fiesta Red as a finish option, so this one appeals nicely to me!

Tone: It's just like you'd expect -- saucy and round when flipped to the neck-only, biting at bridge-only, and mids-scooped and "twomp, twomp" with both wide-open and blended.

Feel: It has a very '60s neck -- a round, slim-medium, C-shaped profile with a tightly-radiused board. I like the new pau ferro fretboards and their ruddy coloring, so I have no complaints there.

Interesting features: Well, I mean -- it's Road Worn, so it has the look. The rest that's interesting to me is that it has a very '60s feel in the cut of the neck (a huge plus) and it's fairly lightweight for a Jazz Bass.

Repairs included: I gave it a level/dress of the frets and a good setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.

Condition notes: The body and neck are relic'd so it's a bit hard to tell what's "original" and what's "not" as far as wear and tear go. The owner added a route through the pickguard and body so the truss rod could be accessed easily at the butt of the heel. It otherwise appeals to be original throughout.

It comes with: This guy has a gigbag.
