2022 Harmony (Heritage) Comet Semihollow Electric Guitar

Overview: I've now had the pleasure of setting-up several of these new Heritage-made, Harmony-branded products. All of them have been really good, well-thought-out, precisely-built instruments. This Comet is no exception to the rule, either -- it's lightweight, comfy, fast to play, and has a vibe about it that's distinctly retro and makes you want to play retro as well.

Tone: It's clean, balanced, growly, and full.

Feel: The neck is quite fast with a slim-C profile and middle-of-the-road 12" board radius. It's a lot like a modern Fender USA neck, but with quicker shoulders

Interesting features: The "goldfoil" humbuckers are nice-looking, of course. It also has a very retro body shape and styling cues. Said body is very thin as well. Both the top and back are carved from solid mahogany and that adds to a "luxurious quality" feel when you've got it in the lap. Acoustically, it responds nicely because it's not just a press-molded, plywood box. Lastly, it balances nicely in the lap and on a strap.

Repairs included: It only needed a quick setup and after that it's now playing spot-on and fit to serve.

Condition notes: There's a little light usewear here and there but overall it's very clean. You might find really light scratches or scuffs here and there but nothing to photograph. I'd call it "handling wear" more than true wear and tear. The frets show just the tiniest bit of use.

It comes with: It has a good, Mono gigbag.
