1880s Buckbee-made Puritan 5-String Openback banjo
I worked on this beautiful old Buckbee just before Xmas break for a lady just getting into banjo. She'd been given it (what a lucky break!) and it was overall in decent shape but did need a level/dress of the frets, strings, and setup work. It turned-out great and has a classic, chipper, old-time sound to it.
I love the engraved plate at the end of the fretboard and the engraved heel/neck support plate, too.
