1967 Rickenbacker 330 Semihollow Electric Guitar

Overview: Rickis ooze cool-factor. This one oozes lots of it. It's an all-original 330 (save repro bridge -- the original is in the case though) in black and with enough playwear to convince yourself that you put it there for the last 50+ years. I worked on this a while back for its owner and it's arrived back in-shop in just the state it left -- playing spot-on and quick and easy.

Tone: As you'd expect, the pickups are on the midsy-to-chimey side with a little bit of that breathy, Ricki mellow-flavor on the top-end.

Interesting features: What isn't interesting on a 330? How about the wide, pointy body? ...the stacked pickguards? The radio knobs? ..the iconically-large truss cover/logo plate at the headstock? The "R" tailpiece? ...the "toaster" pickups? They're a tour-de-force of slick design and quirky choices. This one also comes with a repro version of the tailpiece-mounted whammy, if you desire a Vibrola-style event in your life.

Repairs included: It's had a level/dress of the frets, some tweaking done to adjust the pickup heights, and setup work. It's ready to go.
