1986 Lucy Ann Freeman 4/4 Violin

This one is a daily driver for its owner. There's no information that I could find about the builder but the owner told me she'd made a few. It's a nice-quality instrument and has cool inlay in the flamed-maple back and tightly-grained spruce for the top with an interesting cross-grain sort-of figure to itself as well.

Andy did some good work on this and it's now playing back on-spec and sounds like a champ -- clean, round, and full. By the look of the instrument, I expected it to be a lot older at a glance, but I suppose this look is the charm of a well-used friend...!
