1998 Epiphone AJ-18S Dreadnought Guitar

Overview: What we've got here is a simple, Korean-made, solid-top dreadnought. It's held-up nicely since it was built and has, luckily, remained pretty clean through the years. I remember these and similar Epis being popular when I was in high school -- they were good sound for the money back then and remain-so now.

Tone: It's a dreadnought -- it's got decent bottom and a clean, slightly-sizzly top with good, solid mids.

Interesting features: I like the "streaky" coloration in the top wood and the extra pearl inlay in the neck and headstock compared to what you might have expected in this market range at the time.

Repairs included: It just needed a glorified setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.
