2004 Gretsch G6118T Junior Double Anniversary Hollowbody Electric Guitar

Overview: This Japanese-made Gretsch is a lovely box! It's a nice copycat of a Double Anniversary model save that it's got FilterTrons instead of HiLoTrons and the body is a narrower width than the traditional version of this guitar. The "smoke green" two-tone finish is gorgeous as well, and the darker-green pickguard is icing on the cake.

Tone: It's clean, chimey for a pair of buckers, and retro-sounding. It would make Chet devotees proud.

Interesting features: Well, the two-tone paint is hip for starters. It's also got spiffy hardware and a compensated version of the "space control" bridge so you can actually play in tune up the fretboard.

Repairs included: It's had a good setup and is ready to go.

Condition notes: It's super clean -- as in a "very lightly used at home" sort of a guitar. There may be tiny scratches here or there I am not noticing, but at first inspection it feels more like fresh guitar than one 21 years old.

It comes with: It's got its original hard case.
