2010s Martin LXM Tenor Guitar
Overview: I remember when these little guys came out (along with the tres version) and I thought everyone would be clamoring to get one! They've since been discontinued ages-past and it's still quite hard to find a more-recent Martin tenor if you're in the market for one.
Tone: It's clean, a little plunky, and has decent volume. I like it a lot for chords and fingerpicking!
Feel: The neck is quick and easy.
Interesting features: I mean, the whole concept of using glorified masonite to build a who guitar body is interesting, of course! It also works. I'm a huge fan of old Danelectro Convertible "acoustics" and this sort of build is like the higher-tech version of that. It has a bolted neck joint as well which makes adjustments on the easier side if need be, but we've just done all that so it should be good to go for the rest of its lifetime, now.
Repairs included: A neck reset (with additional bolt reinforcement hidden at the neckblock), fret level/dress, new saddle, and setup work. It's playing spot-on.

Condition notes: While it's rather new-looking, someone added an oversize pickguard that doesn't quite match-up to the soundhole rosette. There's also a little gunk/glueline around the joint of the neck and the body from an attempted past neck reset job. Somehow, they didn't do it right, so I got to reset it and clean most of it off. Still, there's a little residue if you're searching. Otherwise it's very low-use.
It comes with: It's got a good gigbag.
