2020s Cordoba Iberia Requinto 1/2 Size Classical Guitar

Overview: This is a nice, simple, killer-sounding, reduced-scale classical guitar. It's marketed as a requinto (in which case thinner strings for the higher ADGCEA tuning should be used) but most folks around the States seem to just string these with heavy-tension nylon and run them as standard EADGBE instruments. That's what's going on here and, well -- I quite like it! It's a great little travel classical as it is and it sounds good while doing it.

Tone: It's surprisingly-full and mellow for its size with a little extra snap in the upper-mids and treble.

Interesting features: The solid cedar top is nice and the rosette is handsome. It has a good-looking headstock, too, and there's even a bit of quilting figure to the top.

Repairs included: It just needed a decent setup. It's playing bang-on and ready to serve.
