Want a Tweed Deluxe but ne plus ultra? This is it. These Tweed River amps are built right down the street by a lone electrician and all of the fittings, trim, parts, and build are top-notch. He's cleverly-modified and adjusted the choice of the circuits and components to present both a faithful reproduction and improvement on the original. I've taken a bunch of "under the hood" shots to show the cleanliness of the work and all of the choice components.

It features an all-pine cabinet, point-to-point wiring, and a clean, crisp build. There's a photo down the post with the builder's spec-sheet and that describes everything you'd need to know stat-wise.

The most important bit about his amplifiers is that they are very musical in nature and expressive. There are any number of excellently-made, boutique amps on the market these days but not all of them make you want to keep playing the way these do.

I also happen to be a big fan of the old tweed sound, too, so it's nice to play an amp that's like the real thing but also offers a little more clarity and sauce when pushed hard.
