1964 Martin Style A Mandolin
Overview: Martin Style a mandolins barely changed from the 1920s through to the '70s. They gained tortoise binding and different tuners now and then, but what you see in this '60s model is very close to the early ones and it's built along the same specifications as well. This one is slightly louder than most and would make a great Celtic/old-time/folksy jammer. It won't do bluegrass well on account of the shorter scale length and warmer sound.
Interesting features: I like the look of the latter-era tortoise binding and pickguard and the closed-back Kluson tuners are not a bad look, either.
Repairs included: It got a level/dress of the frets, cleaning, restring, and setup work. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
