1965 Gibson ES-330 Hollowbody Electric Guitar
Overview: This is a player's ES-330, for sure, as it's seen some good use. It's got a quick, fast, easy feel to it and, of course, the sound is delicious. These are pretty iconic guitars and will fit themselves into just about any genre you could ask for -- keep it brighter and cleaner for rockabilly or old country, darker and mellower at the amp for old-school jazz, or cranked and biting for classic rock.
Interesting features: As a fan of lightweight guitars and P90s, I'm of course a big fan of old 330s. Because of the closer-in feel of the neck as compared to a 335 neck joint, they sit "just so" in the lap and have a "homey" sort-of comfort to them. It's a great match for rhythm guitarists as the right hand is kept in a sweet spot. The replacement plastic covers on the pickups also means the pickups have a bit more snarl and bark in them than if the original metal covers were in use (which tend to mellow and lower the apparent output of P90s to my ears). Despite being a '65, the neck on this one also has a 1 5/8" width which is a bit more comfortable and with wider spacing than the 1 9/16" that is more common for '65 and later models.
Repairs included: It's had a level/dress of the frets and setup and cleaning done by Gurion. It plays spot-on and is ready to go.

Condition notes: There's weather-check throughout the finish. The strap buttons bridge, frets (it's had a refret at some point), tuners, pickup covers, and pickguard and its bracket are all replacement parts. The rest appears original. It has edge-wear at the headstock and the back of the neck and neck joint area look like they've been buffed-up at some point and then left a little satin (though all the weather-check remains under the buffing, curiously). There's one area of finish loss on the back of the neck (in photo, about quarter-sized) and a little light flaking of the finish here and there at the edges of the neck as well. There are minor scratches/nicks/dings here and there throughout but overall it looks nice and loved in a not-aggressive way.
It comes with: It's got a newer hard case.
