1969 Gibson LG-0 00-Size Guitar
In the late-'60s Gibson LG-0s got weird and merged a bit with the B-15 models from the same era. They should be solid mahogany throughout the body and ladder-braced but this one, like a B-15, has a solid spruce top instead. That makes this sound roughly like an LG-1. Confusing!
In any case, this guitar was well and truly brutalized over its life and came in via its owner for repairs to make it a solid player. Three braces were loose and damaged on the top, the saddle area was completely wonky, the frets needed service, and it needed a good cleaning as well. The whole guitar has a layer of overspray throughout, too.
After careful ministrations from Manny, this thing is now playing beautifully and is structurally-sound and ready to go. I had a huge pain in the butt removing the old adjustable posts (which had seized-up and were rattlin) in the bridge and then Manny made a nice, fully-compensated saddle to drop into the slot.
