1990s Jerry Jones Single Cut (U2) Electric Guitar
Overview: Jerry Jones copies of Danelectros are more like Danelectro+ instruments. They're a revised version -- better-made but with much of the same sound and vibe. The bridges, for instance, are an excellent alteration of the old-school Danelectro mold and are fully-adjustable. This one, in a surfy "jade" green, certainly has the sound of an old U2 and much of the handling, but an overall better feel in the neck and build quality. It was left here for consignment but the owner had second thoughts and is now taking it home! How about that?
Interesting features: The color is great and the matching headstock and neck is, too. It has just the right amount of wear and tear at the edges to make it feel homey but it's also, on the whole, pretty clean.
Repairs included: Sarah gave it a level/dress of the frets and a good setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
