2010s Waterloo (Collings) WL-14 LTR 00-Size Flattop Guitar
Overview: The Waterloo line from Collings has been defiantly popular among old-time and country-blues flatpickers. This WL-14 is the ladder-braeced version and it very-much copycats an old Kalamazoo KG-14 but with a top-notch build quality and a few modern upgrades -- a bolt-on neck, reinforcement rod in the neck, and cleaner and tighter build throughout. As a result, it sounds a lot like a KG-14 but more "Collings" in tone -- a little warmer and smoother but just as loud and punchy.
Interesting features: I like the open-grain satin finish. Others might disagree but I think it looks classy on such an understated guitar. The original KG-14s have an iconic look and this one does, too, though it borrows the white pickguard of some of the earlier L-00 models and the sunburst is more grey-yellow-brown than ruddy-red-brown like the normal KG look. It has nice, StewMac repro-style tuners, too.
Repairs included: I reset the neck and I think Jose gave it a level/dress of the frets and fit a new, compensated bone saddle. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's quite clean but there are a few marks from wear -- some rubbing at the headstock edges and a few small scratches and dings here and there on the body. It's all non-obvious save one on the headstock's top edge and can't really be seen in the photos. You have to look for it. The saddle is unoriginal but it's otherwise original throughout.
It comes with: It's got a nice, hard case.
