1999 Schecter Diamond Series C-1 Electric Guitar
Overview: I've had a few of these older Schecter C-1s through the shop for setup and trade and resale and they always make great players with a modern, more-aggressive sound. Played clean they're a bit like a grunty-sounding Les Paul with a bit more snap but when gained-up they do the thing well. This one arrived as a, "hey, do you want to buy this?" guitar and it was pretty grungy when it came in. Sarah did a great job cleaning it up and putting it back to rights and now it's the hot-to-trot player it should be.
Interesting features: I like the silver finish combined with the body carve on the two cutaway "wings" -- the metallic sheen lets that stuff stand-out nicely. I also like the simple control layout -- 3-way and volume/tone with a jack that's easy to get to on the top. The build quality is good and it's rugged and reliable.
Repairs included: Sarah gave it a level/dress of the frets, much cleaning, and setup. It's playing bang-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's missing its truss rod cover and does show signs of light-to-medium use throughout via small scratches, scuffs, nicks -- stuff like that. Overall it has a good look, though. The neck pickup surround has a break in its lower section but that doesn't affect its operation. The hardware all has a little bit of tarnish or rust in its recesses but it all works as it should.
It comes with: Sorry, no case.
