2010s Waterloo WL-12 00-Size Guitar

This Collings-made Waterloo guitar is their take on a 12-fret, L-00-style guitar. It's got a woody, punchy, up-front sound that makes it ideal for old-time backup for fingerpicking jobs. It's loud, has a comfy neck, and looks great, too. What more could you ask from them?

That said, this one definitely has some "road wear" throughout that gives it a loved-in look. The owner initially sent it here for resale but changed his mind and had us send it home, instead, after the level/dress and setup work Jose did. It's playing spot-on, now!

This one is solid spruce over solid maple, so unlike mahogany back and sides, this has a little more forward punch and saucy mids and a little less warmth and "air," overall.
