2018 Fender 60th Anniversary Jazzmaster Electric Guitar w/Upgrades
Overview: This is a lightly-used 60th Anniversary Jazzmaster, made in Mexico, and with early-'70s features (bound fretboard with block inlay) mixed with some '60s aesthetics and neck feel. The matching headstock with the Daphne Blue (I think) is a really nice touch. This one arrived playing almost spot-on and so only needed a light setup to get it ready for hanging on the wall.
Interesting features: The owner gave the guitar two serious upgrades -- a Mastery bridge (a huge expense but worth it) and a Spitfire tortoise pickguard. The former gives it a lot more tuning stability and practical functionality while the latter dresses it up a bunch. Other than that, it's a pretty typical Jazzmaster and has that '60s JM sound -- even and balance but with a bit of that clank on the low-end and snap on the high-end that makes them so fun to shunt into driven amps. Or... surf!
Repairs included: It just got a light setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to roll.
