2021 Guild Starfire IV Hollowbody Electric Guitar
Overview: These modern Starfires are absolutely no joke -- they're well-made, sound authentic, and have a decent setup from the factory that is easily adjusted into a perfect setup. I've had a few in for sale and repair over the last few years and I've always been satisfied when playing them. The pickups are "buckery" but on the cleaner, crisper side.
Interesting features: Is the finish poly? Yes, but it's not super thick and it's nicely shot. Is the tailpiece and bridge setup different from the '60s versions? Yes, they're ES-335 style, but perhaps a little more practical for most folks. It's got 18:1 tuners at the headstock, the weight is low, and the neck is quick and easy. Overall the whole thing feels like a practical-ized update on the original-style models.
Repairs included: Sarah gave it a few quick setup adjustments.
